After over a decade of visiting the Obx, we happened to find this lot for sale during Covid. It took us a few years but we finally finished it with the help of a our wonderful builder Premier Coastal Company in Manteo. Our brand-new, coastal, and modern beach house, completed in April 2024, is ideally located at MP20.5, just 91 steps from the ocean in South Nags Head. This luxurious home features a bright, serene, and relaxing decor with beautiful turquoise accents. A tall 18 feet off the ground, all living spaces are on one level, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The newly built Turquoise Beach House features a great room that seamlessly combines the kitchen, dining, and living areas into one expansive open space, highlighted by a stunning two-story wall of windows offering abundant natural light and breathtaking ocean views. The front deck provides panoramic vistas of the ocean and surroundings, ideal for watching the sun rise and set from our 270-degree vantage point.

Each bedroom is uniquely named and themed after some of our favorite travel destinations, with signs to match:

• Bedroom 1: Turks & Caicos (Master Bedroom with en suite bathroom)
• Bedroom 2: Big Blue (Master Bedroom with en suite bathroom)
• Bedroom 3: Bahamas (Hall bathroom for the bedrooms 3&4)
• Bedroom 4: Hawaii

The beach is approximately 350 feet from our house—just 91 steps away—without any streets to cross. It’s public and typically uncrowded. Located just 10 minutes (5 miles) from town, you’ll find plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping options.

Internet and Entertainment

We provide Spectrum 100Mbps internet with streaming and Xumo channels on the main TV. The living room features a 55” TV, master bedroom 1 has a 50″ TV, the 3 other bedrooms have a 40″TV.

Note: While we strive to provide consistent WiFi/Internet service, we cannot guarantee it due to potential Spectrum outages or weather-related issues. Mobile/cell service is generally good, though it may be spotty in certain areas.

• A towel service providing bath, hand, and washcloths
• Dedicated cleaning management ensuring cleanliness and attention to detail

Special Features

Guest Access

All living spaces are on the main level, elevated 18 feet from the ground. Guests should be comfortable with stairs. Storage room access is available for beach chairs and other items.

Other Things to Note

• New Construction: Our house is brand new with everything designed to high standards, not just an ordinary rental.
• Privacy and Shades: Custom shades on all windows (except the kitchen sink) provide heat and privacy management.
• Towel Service: Guests should place used towels (excluding beach/kitchen/linens) in the provided bag and leave it by the main door for pick-up.
• Smoking Policy: No smoking, vaping, or related substance use near or inside the house. Violations result in a $300 fine and additional penalties.
• Children and Safety: The house is not baby-proofed, but outlet covers and cabinet locks are provided for optional use.
• Security Cameras: External security cameras safeguard the home and do not face into any living areas.
